ABOUT ME

Hello!I am Alison WhiteMy love of photography began over 20 years ago, sparked by my children’s fast-paced sports and my desire to capture those fleeting moments. In learning how to photograph people in motion, I discovered the art and challenge of visual storytelling. Since then, I’ve had the honor of documenting weddings, reunions, newborns, engagements, family portraits, and other deeply personal moments.Beyond people, my passion for photography extends to wildlife and landscapes. Exploring and capturing the beauty of the world around us has taken me across the globe, allowing me to photograph the unique character of nature in its many forms. Outside of photography, I am a wife, mother, newly blessed grandmother, and a retired nurse.

Listening: I have an eclectic music taste from 70's disco, Adele, Lady Gaga, Christian rock to blue grass Americana.

Craving: My next photography shoot...and anything chocolate

Drinking: Coffee or sparkling water with an occasional nice sipping tequila

Watching: The Pitt. What do you expect? I am a retired nurse!

Things I answer to: Mom, wife, grandma, daughter, friend, artist, photographer, nurse, nerd, adventure seeker.

You can find me: with my dogs, listening to music, photographing landscapes, baking in my kitchen, working fiber art, on a road trip, researching my next great adventure.

Planning next adventures: Back to the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Spring, exploring Maine.

Bucket list adventures: Visit all the National Parks including Katmai to photograph the Brown Bear, African safari.
